Get Certified as a Security Guard

All potential licensed security officers must complete the Security Officer Certification Class in order to obtain their Ct Guard Card. In addition to the class the state of Connecticut has a
variety of other requirements that must be met. Applicants must be 18 years of age and have not been convicted of a felony or sexual offense. Must be a citizen or resident alien of the United States. You will need several documents and forms such as: Copy of current Connecticut Driver’s License (Actually any state ID or driver’s license) and Social Security Card Papers of Naturalization (if applicable) or a US Passport that was issued to you by the US government after you became a US citizen, or if you are not a US citizen a valid current copy of your Green Card. FBI Privacy Act (Signed and dated).
